Home Made Christmas

In companion with the photo album I just finished, I am reflecting on my past Christmases. This year is a bit leaner than past ones. But I find myself being a lot more grateful and appreciative of what I have. And really I do have all the blessings, a good home, family, enough on the table. Family nearby.

Sometimes I think we get so caught up with the commercializm of Christmas we really need to stop and realize its not about any of that. Its about seeing inside, taking stock, being better, believing in something and making that your focus. Taking care of family because that is what is really important more than things. Things break, go away, disappear.

My family in those pictures, we started out with one little boy, now three grown and 7 grandchildren. I am looking forward to getting together with them and enjoying their uniqueness!
